An IVR is a telephone system feature that allows a caller to make a selection using button dialing on their device. #
Example: IVR for service, sales and headquarters.
The caller gets the audio message played when calling:
“Please press 1 for Service, 2 for Sales and 3 for Headquarters”.
Depending on the input, the caller is then forwarded differently.
The matelso Pre IVR is active even before the forwarding destination is created, therefore Pre.
Matelso tracks the input of the caller and saves it to the call.
There is currently only one level you can set up with the Pre IVR, which means the caller can only make one entry.
In some cases, it has proven helpful in possible SPAM attacks to put a Pre IVR in front of it, as it gives the attackers another hurdle.
