What is matelso Conversion Tracking? #
To avoid misunderstandings directly: This is not an online conversion as in an analytics tool like Google Analytics. If you are looking for a connection between call and online conversion, you will find more under the terms “dynamic tracking” and “integration”.
The matelso conversion tracking is a rating after a call. This rating is provided by the person called, not the caller. After a call, the caller hangs up and the called person stays on the line. Then matelso Conversion Tracking starts and plays an audio file with a request to rate the call by entering the number on the phone. The prompt can sound like this: “Please press 1 if the call was a successful sale”. After input, this information is then saved permanently to this call in matelso.
What do I need to know before using matelso conversion tracking? #
Conversion tracking is a paid module that can be used per number pool. You can find the prices in your price list.
Conversion tracking requires configuration in the matelso Control Panel. You may need your own audio announcements and an assignment of input values to text (for example, telephone input 1 stands for successful sale).
The phone input is done via DTMF tones. The telephone system that answers the calls must be able to provide the function for the subscribers.
Continuous recording of the values requires a high level of cooperation from the persons called. For example, if a call ends by itself, no more evaluation can be done.
